The first details for WWE 2K24 have been revealed.

After several days of hints on social media, 2K Games revealed that there will be three cover stars for this year’s edition. Cody Rhodes, who made his return to WWE in 2022, will be on the cover of the Standard Edition and the Cross-Gen Digital Edition.

Sharing the cover of the Deluxe Edition will be Bianca Belair, who will make history as the first black woman to feature on a WWE 2K cover, and Rhea Ripley, the current Women’s World Champion. Both women have made their impact in WWE since arriving in the company, with eight championship reigns between them, both are also Royal Rumble winners and Ripley is the youngest person to have completed the “Grand Slam” accolade at just 26 years old.

There will also be a third edition celebrating 40 years of WWE’s flagship event – WrestleMania. WWE 2K24’s single-player Showcase mode will take players through some of the most iconic moments from the Showcase of The Immortals, morphing gameplay and live-action footage.

Along with the reveal of the cover artwork, it was also confirmed that the game will be launching on March 8, 2024, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Steam. Pre-orders for all editions are available now, with players who pre-order receiving the Nightmare Family Pack – with bonus superstars and MyFACTION cards – and a copy of the Standard Edition of WWE 2K23 will also be available with digital pre-orders.

Speaking about being named as one of the cover superstars, Rhodes said “I’ve been known to keep a checklist of key milestones I want to experience on the path to finishing my story. As an avid gamer, being named WWE 2K cover Superstar is very, very close to the top of that list and I’m very happy to work with the teams at 2K and Visual Concepts to bring that dream to life.”

More information about the game, and how to pre-order, can be found on the game’s official website.
