The Falmouths are mouthwatering. They released single ‘Twenty’ earlier this year, earning them plays on Steve Lamacq’s BBC Radio 6 music show.
‘Twenty’ gets the blood pumping straight away. As soon as you hear the distorted chords, you’re in for a wild ride. The riff reminds me of Fontaines D.C at their very best. Sam Albinson’s drums drive the track forward while Joshua Weaver’s vocals instantly grab you because you feel his passion.
It’s clear on hearing ‘Twenty’ that The Falmouths have a bright future ahead of them. Their confident swagger will surely see them grace bigger stages sooner rather than later.
