The Horrors have created an ethereal sonic journey with their new track ‘Lotus Eater’. Filled with floating pads and synths, Faris Badwan’s deep vocals and transcendent bridges turn the seven-minute track into a captivating excursion through The Horrors’ new soundscape.

This new sonic direction is brought to fruition through collaboration with Amelia Kidd of The Ninth Wave. Her vision on the keyboard pushes The Horrors’ typical garage punk sound into a more refined and mature territory with the addition of electronic elements.

The track features a dynamic blend of slow, ambient moments that build into a powerful chorus. Heavy distorted guitars and a thumping kick drum create a rich, immersive atmosphere that captivates throughout the song, offering a promising glimpse into what’s to come on their upcoming album Night Life, set for release on March 21 2025.
