Quality over quantity is a mantra used by many artists, but Vistas‘ new releases appear to beautifully disprove this. New track ‘Dayglow’ is the third single released from upcoming album What Were you Hoping to Find?, set for release later this summer on 20 August.

‘Dayglow’ follows singles ‘Stuck in your Head’ and ‘Start Again’. At first listen, the contrast of the upbeat tempo to the lyrics may make you forget that the song is based around missing nights and people you love. The Scottish trio seems to thrive on experimentation and creating new sound — whilst each song still perfectly encapsulates the sunshine outside.

Vocalist Prentice said: “I wrote ‘Dayglow’ at the start of lockdown and it was intended to be an optimistic song. At that time, I would often daydream about things I wanted to do when lockdown ended and I found that it was a good way for me to deal with what was happening.”

What Were you Hoping to Find? will be available on a groundbreaking ‘pop up vinyl’, which is up for preorder now on Blood Records.
