‘Anyone Else’ by Rain Maze is a beautiful mix of dream pop, with some hypnotic guitar lines and a husky voice. The track starts with bass, guitar, and a melody line. This then builds up with some heavier chords before the vocals come in. There is quite a lot going on in the song at most points, however it manages so sound really pleasing to the ears. This song is extremely relaxing, but you can also appreciate the musical skill that has gone into it.
A particular highlight of this track is the guitar solo, because with pitch bends it adds a slight rock vibe to it; this along with the rest of the atmospheric parts of it really gives this track a unique sound. Also, the vocals are quite catchy and even though it’s quite difficult to decipher what the singer is saying, the melody is still memorable.
