4. The Waterboys – Pyramid Stage, Saturday

Another batch of classics came courtesy of cult icon Mike Scott, who has been churning out timeless records since the early 1980s. The press called it “big music”, and it’s easy to see why. Whether it’s luscious 12-string folk on ‘Fisherman’s Blues’ or the piano driven pop of their anthemic hit ‘Whole Of The Moon’, their wall-of-sound delivery is the perfect soundtrack to Worthy Farm festivities.
