Hey all you cool cats and kittens… 2020 just got a lot weirder.

Remember the early days of quarantine when we were all binging Tiger King, thoroughly obsessed with Joe Exotic and his arch-nemesis Carole Baskin?

It feels almost a lifetime ago. That is, until now. As Strictly Come Dancing bosses reveal their 2020 line-up, the stars taking part in the US version of the show have also been named and it is an impressive, if not interesting, mix of celebrities. Good Morning America has confirmed that Carole Baskin, the crazy cat queen who was accused of feeding her husband to the tigers, will appear on season 29 of Dancing With The Stars. She will be dancing alongside the likes of Cheer coach Monica Aldama, Disney star Skai Jackson, rapper Nelly and Backstreet Boy AJ McLean.

In announcing the news, Baskin was shown dancing in a flower crown with a stuffed animal tiger…the same crazy woman we all became obsessed with in the early stages of lockdown. Hopefully, in the new series, we will also see her dancing on a stage with propped tigers, all donned out in leopard print and flower crown attire. Maybe, we might even see her attempt to do the famous Tik Tok dance (see below for reference) or attempting to bust some moves to Joe Exotic’s famous I Saw A Tiger… who knows what we can expect in 2020 now.

In response to the news, Baskin responded that she’s excited for viewers to see the real her and not the ‘husband killer’ she was made out to be on the hit documentary. Images have also already been spotted of Baskin heading into the Dancing With The Stars rehearsals for the first time. Head to toe in leopard print with a matching cool cats and kittens mask, she’s living up to the image and energy that made her an iconic internet sensation back in March.

So who will win the mirrorball this year? Could it be Carole Baskin? Only watching will we find out. Season 29 of Dancing With The Stars will premiere Monday September 14 on ABC.
