Destiny 2

A new chapter begins in this action packed sequel. Taking place after the events of Rise of Iron, Destiny 2 will have players starting a new journey in this expansive universe. Believing that humanity should never have been given the Light, Dominus Ghual and the Red Legion have laid waste to the Last City and stripped the Guardians of their powers. Forced to flee from the tower, Guardians will have to explore a new power system and abilities in order to take down this dominating force.

Players who pre-order the Standard Edition will receive the Coldheart Exotic Rifle. The Limited Edition will include a copy of the game, the Expansion Pass, bonus digital content – including themed emotes, weapons and emblems – and a Cabal themed box containing schematics, postcards and a collectors booklet. The Collectors Edition will include the game, Expansion Pass, bonus digital content and Cabal themed box, in addition to a Frontier bag & laptop/tablet sleeve, Frontier kit – including a solar blanket, paracord, USB charger with built in light and steelbook case. Both the Collectors and Limited Editions will also include figurines of Zavala, Ikora and Cayde-6.

Destiny 2 will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 from September 6*


Pro Evolution Soccer 2018

The first of this month’s sporting releases takes players to the stadiums of Europe to test their skills across the pitch. Along with new visual upgrades, new gameplay mechanics and user interfaces, PES 2018 will offer players a new online co-op mode with local support, full league integration and the return of the Random Selection Match feature. Among the clubs on offer to players will be Athletico Madrid, Barcelona, Fulham, and Liverpool as well as the French and Brazilian national teams.

The Premium Edition will feature exclusive Topps cards from the UEFA Champions League, myClub starter bonuses, a Champions League myClub agent and legendary athlete Usain Bolt unlockable as a myClub agent. The Legendary Edition will feature an exclusive steelbook case, PES USB stick, a PES legend myClub agent, 1000 myClub coins and all of the bonus content included in the Premium Edition.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider

An elusive figure shrouded in mystery is the focus of this standalone story in the Dishonored series. As Billie Lurk, players are tasked with tracking down the enigmatic Outsider. Joined by her mentor, Daud, the two assassins will work their way through the underworld of Karnaca in an attempt to find out more about the Outsider and the roles they all have to play in the story of the world.

With Billie’s unique mix of supernatural powers and assassin training, players will have a number of choices when it comes to how they complete their missions. Choose between stealth or confrontation when battling enemies, unravel secrets of the city or infiltrate hidden orders and underground fight clubs. With Death of the Outsider, players will have the chance to experience the world and inhabitants of the Dishonored universe in whole new light.

NBA 2K18

The second sporting release to be featured this month takes players onto the courts of the NBA for the latest outing in the NBA 2K series. For this edition, sixteen teams join the roster of classic teams from NBA history and also the All Time Teams – featuring the true icons of the sport. The MyCareer mode will put players in the shoes of their own customisable players as they try and forge a successful and illustrious career. Those looking for a court side challenge will also be able to play through the MyGM and My League modes or even try their hand at creating the ultimate team in MyTeam.

Players who pre-order will receive 5000 VC, 10 weekly MyTeam packs and MyPlayer apparel. The Legend Edition will include 100,000 VC, 20 weekly MyTeam packs, Shaq Apparel – including jerseys, shoes and a championship ring – to use in-game along with a double sided poster, trading cards and stickers along with a copy of the game and all the pre-order content.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite

The fates of all worlds are in jeopardy in this team-up fighter. This title sees the two worlds come together to battle a whole new evil – the combination of Ultron and Sigma. Using two of the Infinity Stones, the two villains literally join together to form Ultron Sigma and set about their task of destroying all biological life. In the face of this new evil, the two sets of heroes must unite and recover the rest of the stones to protect the worlds.

Players who pre-order will receive two additional character costumes – Warrior Thor and Evil Ryu. The Deluxe Edition will feature a Character Pass, steelbook case and additional costumes – Warrior Hulk and Command Mission X. The Collector’s Edition will feature four diorama figures of Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Mega Man X and Chun-Li and the six Infinity Stones in a special edition case.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from September 19*


FIFA 18

The final sporting title in September returns players to the world of football. Along with the entire current Premier League roster, players will be able to test their skills on the pitch in over 50 stadiums in 12 countries. Also making a return to FIFA is Alex Hunter and the next chapter of “The Journey”. Players who played this story mode in FIFA 17 will have all their progress carried over, with new players starting the story by choosing one of the current Premier League clubs to start the story.

Players on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 can pre-order the Legacy Edition and receive £10 worth of Jumbo Premium Gold packs. The Standard Edition will include 5 Jumbo Premium gold packs to unlock extra players and items, eight special edition FUT kits designed by artists included in the game’s soundtrack and have the game’s cover star, Cristiano Ronaldo, as a FUT loan player. The Ronaldo Edition will feature the special edition FUT kits and Ronaldo as a FUT loan player along with 20 Jumbo Premium packs and the ability to play the game three days early thanks to Early Access.

FIFA 18 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Switch from September 29*


Free to Play

On Xbox, Gold subscribers will have four new titles to download for free. On Xbox One, Forza Motorsport 5: Racing Game of the Year Edition will be available from September 1-30*, with Oxenfree available from September 16 – October 15*. Over on Xbox 360, Hydro Thunder Hurricane will be free to download from September 1-15*, followed by Battlefield 3 free to download from September 16-30*

Over on PlayStation Plus, subscribers will have a host of games to download for free across the PlayStation family. From September 5*, inFAMOUS: Second Son and Child of Light will be available on PlayStation 4, Truck Racer and Handball 2016 will be downloadable on PlayStation 3 with We Are Doomed and Hatoful Boyfriend available on PS Vita and PlayStation 4. As an additional bonus, That’s You is free on PlayStation 4 and RIGS: Mechanised Combat League will be available for free to try on PSVR.
