Rock Band 4
Harmonix’s latest offering has been a long time in the making, but the fourth instalment in the performance game is set for release this month. This next gen title looks to bring back the features of Rock Band 3 with multiplayer being one of the main features along with new gameplay modes for each instrument. As with other titles, there are some of the biggest artists featured in the game. Rock Band 4’s launch playlist will include the likes of Foo Fighters, The Who, Imagine Dragons, Aerosmith and Van Morrison.
Also, this game will be somewhat backwards compatible as the Xbox 360 on PS3 guitar and drum controllers will work on the updated versions. There will also be next-gen specific controllers available from launch for players to use. For those who pre-order, there will be console exclusives additional playlists to download as well.
Rock Band 4 will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 from October 6.*
