The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel
The tales of the land of Erebonia finally get a European release this month. Taking place at the same time of the franchise’s Crossbell Arc, Trails of Cold Steel follows the story of a group of cadets at Thors Military Academy in Erebonia. This “Class VII” is formed from a mix of aristocrats and common citizens of the land – a unique feature in the Academy. Among their numbers is Rean Schwarzer – the adopted son of the rulers of Yumir, Alisa Reinford – daughter of a manufacturing magnate and Eliot Craig – son of an Army General.
This latest chapter in the series follows the Class during their school year as they learn the skills and experience they will need outside the Academy walls. The Class members travel across the land for their training and see first hand that the segregation of the classes may soon plunge the land into civil war.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel will be available on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita from January 29.*
