Far Cry Primal

Players will be taken back in time in the newest Far Cry title. Set in the fictional land of Oros; Far Cry Primal puts players in the shoes of Takkar, a hunter stranded after the loss of his tribe. Fighting against the harsh environment and the native predators, players have to rely on their own skills to survive. Players then have a chance to build their own new weapons, homes and tribes with the aim of becoming the apex predator.

For those looking for more of a challenge, the Beast Master option will allow players to tame the beasts that would otherwise kill them. Once tamed, Takkar can use the special skills of each animal to achieve certain goals – owls and wolves can be used to scout areas, sabre-tooth tigers will gather items after kills while bears will destroy anything and everything in their paths. For those who want to go further into the world of Oros, the Digital Apex Edition will feature extra missions, weapons and resource packs; with the Collectors Edition featuring the digital content along with a steelbook case, collector’s book, map of Oros, a Wenja – the in-game language – phrasebook and a copy of the game’s soundtrack.

Far Cry Primal will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 from February 23*
