Familiar Stardew Valley tunes are being remixed for The Prescription for Sleep series new upcoming album. The songs will be remixed to soothing lullabies to provide a calm, nostalgic album for fans of the game.

Launching on 19 May 2021, Stardew Valleys Prescription for Sleep album marks the 11th release in the Scarlet Moon series. The series has also collaborated with other popular video games such as Undertale to create remixed albums full of soft melodies.

The album features performances by Gentle Love, the group comprised of Metal Gear Solid performer Norihiko Hibino on saxophone and Etrian Odyssey‘s Ayaki on piano. Stardew Valley developer and composer Eric Barone, more commonly known as ConcernedApe, worked closely with Gentle Love to produce this collaboration. Barone chose all 11 tracks and also wrote a commentary for the album.

This album will be highly anticipated from Stardew Valleys cult following and the layout of the tracks is another nod to the classic gameplay. The track list follows the same layout as the game with music that represents the seasons of the year and the events that come along with them in the gameplay.
