Single Review: Solitude // The Bright Young People

If you’re looking for your daily dose of punk, you may want to make some room for The Bright Young People and their single ‘Solitude’. Taken from their first EP Sunshine Town, which is due for release on the 9th March, this song alone will bring you back to the ‘90s and you may want to go find your leather jacket and Nirvana tee shirt. It’s your standard garage punk – loud, thrashing guitars; angry, noisy vocals; cymbals galore.

That’s about it in terms of the song; there’s nothing really new brought to the table to peak anyone’s interests. Hopefully the EP is a bit more promising than this song, however ‘Solitude’ is still worth a listen. Get angry, play this song, and maybe break some (not prized) records if you’re feeling it.
