Single Review: Margo // Accepting April

With a vast selection of great musicians hailing from the North West of England it’s safe to say that those from the region have a natural appreciation for music. That’s exactly the case in point for Accepting April, a three piece indie-punk band from near Liverpool. Having been a band for a year, they’ve already played various gigs across the North and are quickly developing their music in a direction which is allowing them to gain a respectable fan-base. If that isn’t impressive enough, they’re only in Year 11!

‘Margo’ is the epitome of how indie and punk rock should coexist. The many elements of inspiration form the song in a completely unique and layered way, allowing the punk bass line to work so well next to the triumphant guitar riff and immediately stand out as something quite exciting. It has the charisma of a demo, which, in five year’s time, their devoted fans will hunt down and be as astonished with  as I am; their incredible young talent is one to look out for in the future.
