6. Five Percent
Shane, who we’ve pretty much forgotten exists by now because he’s such a two-dimensional character, leaves to go on tour as part of his job as band manager. So sad. Much cry.
Sophia spends the entire episode dithering about whether or not to quit her job at the Academy of Art University, now that she finally has health insurance. Seemingly because she’s incapable of making decisions for herself like an actual real life adult, one of Sophia’s scheduled hissy fits conveniently makes her hernia explode. It is this “brush with death” which makes her realise she needs to quit her job and make Nasty Gal a full-time venture.
Verdict: A filler episode, if ever I saw one.
