10872791_10152626047392865_985440548576787352_oWho knew a trio of Yorkshire-born brothers could cause such beautiful discordance on the main stage of Reading festival 2015?  The experienced and accomplished three piece certainly have not lost any of their youthful unruliness. When they played their slot on Sunday afternoon, very few fans were prepared for the chaotic nature of the gig. The eccentric and over the top performance of frontman Ryan Jarman left every pair of eyes in the main stage vicinity firmly fixated on The Cribs, as they tore through an impressive career spanning set-list which included older hits such as ‘Men’s Needs’, alongside much loved tracks from their new album such as ‘Burning For No-one’ and ‘Different Angle.’ The performance concluded with Jarman smashing his guitar in Hendrix-influenced style before throwing it deep into his starstruck audience. His gift was accepted with hungry gratitude and a large tussle began to win the right to take home part of the battered guitar.
