Reading pop-rock duo Yonder are back with their brand new single, ‘Perennial’, premiering today on The Indiependent. The band is made up of brothers Alex Lisle (lead vocals/guitar/synth), and Dan Lisle (drums/bass/backing vocals). Yonder’s sound comes from a love of psychedelia and big hooks. ‘Perennial’ builds on the previous single ‘Medicine Dreams’ with a colossal sound that’ll lift your mood.

Yonder is a side project to the duo’s current band SAHARAS. Writing a memorable hook comes naturally to them because they know what makes the listener tick. ‘Perennial’ has two overlapping guitar riffs that create a vibrant energy. The lyrics could be about how lockdown has affected people as Lisle sings: “I’m waiting for someone to pull me out and resuscitate me back to life.” This is a feeling that a lot of people have experienced, but the upbeat hooks drive the song forward.

‘Perennial’ will satisfy the appetite of anyone who has felt low during lockdown. The chorus will bring energy to a lot of people and help Yonder to a brighter future.
