The sixth cast for 2:22 A Ghost Story has been announced. The play is set to transfer to the Apollo Theatre from 14 May to 17 September 2023.

Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill; Good Sam) will play the character of Lauren, Ricky Champ (Him & Her; Eastenders) will play Ben, Clifford Samuel (McMafia; Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll) is taking over as Sam and Jaime Winston (Kidulthood; Donkey Punch) will play Jenny.

The current production of 2:22 A Ghost Story is playing at the Lyric Theatre until 23 April, when it will transfer next door to the Apollo. This is its fifth home in London: no production has ever transferred in the West End as many times during a two-year period. It currently stars Cheryl, Jake Wood, Scot Karim and Louise Ford as Jenny, Ben, Sam and Lauren respectively.

The production has gained a reputation in recent years for casting well known names: some of the previous cast members have included Stephanie Beatriz, James Buckley, Tom Felton, Mandip Gill, Laura Whitmore, and Matt Willis. Cheryl, who is starring in the current cast, is making her stage debut in the show.

2:22 A Ghost Story is written by Danny Robins and directed by Matthew Dunster. It is co-directed by Gabriel Vega Weissman and features set design by Anna Fleischle, lighting design by Lucy Carter, costume design by Cindy Lin and sound design by Ian Dickinson for Autograph sound. Illusions are by Chris Fisher and casting is by Matilda James CDG.
