Starring: Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Morgan Freeman, Will Ferrell, Will Arnett (and literally a buncha famous people)

Synopsis: From the creators of 21 & 22 Jump Street, comes The LEGO Movie. An ordinary Lego construction worker Emmett Brickowski (Chris Pratt), thought to be the prophesied ‘Special’, is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil tyrant from gluing the Lego universe into eternal stasis. Who knew a film about LEGO building blocks could be the best animated film of the year, as well as one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Miller & Lord bring their Midas’ touch to a film that couldv’e ended up being absolutely anything. But what the director/writing duo give is a wonderful, heartfelt, hilarious joy ride for all ages. Even though most of the jokes are targeted at teen/adult ages. This movie produces a joke literally every minute, meaning a laugh is a dismissal of another joke. Which only gives it the extra replay value. Even the main moral story of the film is something that relates to all people.

Rating: 9.5/10 – A scintillating roller coaster of laughs, made with pure love and heart for the audience to enjoy. Awesome.
