Starring: Stephen Lang, Jane Levy, Dylan Minnette

Summary: After a group of teenage thieves found out an old blind man is sitting on a pot of gold, they decide to break into his house for an easy reward. However, the tables turn and this blind man is not as helpless as they thought.

When most modern day horrors rely on the supernatural or gore to force a scare out of the audience, Don’t Breathe is different, with a fairly realistic premise, it promotes itself as a thriller more than a horror. And the best horrors tend to be thrillers. Reminiscent of films such as Saw and Signs, director Fede Alveraz uses excellent and specific camera work to craft a real environment that tickles all the senses. It’s meticulous direction, when watched in the right environment (like any other horror/thriller) it really excites, a true movie experience for a Friday night in…even if this is Movie Monday.
