Doom
The iconic first person shooter gets a next-gen reboot with this release. Putting the player straight into battle, this edition features “push forward combat” – a system which discourages taking cover or resting for periods of time to regain health. This has been used to put together what has been described as a “relentless campaign” where players fight classic enemies, such as Revenants, Mancubus and Cyberdemons, and new foes from within the depths of darkness.

Along with the campaign mode, Doom will also feature arena style multi-player battles for players to battle for supremacy and bragging rights. For those looking to crate new challenges – or drive players to frustration – Doom Snapmap will allow players to create their own maps and arenas. With the options of mixing together map pieces from every platform, adding in their own gameplay features and logics to crate whole new modes – the possibilities are endless for player to crate and share their creations in the game’s online community.
Doom will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from May 13*
