Are You Satisfied? // Slaves

Slaves2015 has been a pretty amazing year for music. But nothing can compare to the simple brilliance of Slaves’ debut album Are You Satisfied?.

If you haven’t hear of them, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN THIS PAST YEAR? After supporting Jamie T and featuring on the NME music tour, Slaves sold out venues without even having an debut album released. In June this year we were greeted with their first album, yano the bright pink one with two dogs on the front. The album was not just successful in the Indie Music Charts, it also reached Number 8 in the UK Music Charts on its first week. Slaves aren’t like any band around at the minute. They channel that punk feel of the late 70’s whilst mixing their sound with their trademark hard hitting bass sounds to amaze ears across the world. The stand out track from the album ‘The Hunter’ showcases the rare indie punk sound Slaves produce, which is the main reason why they should win this year’s Mercury Music Prize.

Are You Satisfied? really did leave thousand of us music fans satisfied and it will continue to do so for many years to come.
