You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go // Bob Dylan

My dad is the biggest Bob Dylan fan that certainly I’ve ever met, so from an early age I was, unbeknown to me, gradually being introduced to what would become one of my favourite albums of all time. Blood On The Tracks is easily the most emotive and heart-breaking breakup album I’ve ever heard, yet the catchy and laidback nature of the tracklist still made me sing along with my dad on every car journey.

We religiously travel to Cornwall every summer as a family and Bob was always the soundtrack, this particular song being the one I first learned all of the words to. Though clearly a song meant to evoke sadness, I have nothing but happy memories each time I listen.
