Just what we needed to enter 2021: Harry Styles has released a music video on January 1st to kick off the year.
The ‘Treat People With Kindness’ video is fun, energetic and has provided fans with a positive message. The track is the sixth single from Styles’ Grammy Nominated album Fine Line which was released back in 2019.
The video features a glamorous Styles, performing in a retro dance club. Despite enjoying a boogie when on stage with One Direction and during his solo tours, this is the first time fans have seen Harry Styles perform a dance routine. He is joined by Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge who created the show Fleabag.
The black and white video shows Styles enticing Phoebe from the audience perform with him and an array of backup dancers. The duo are wearing matching sequin studded golfing jumpers and white trousers. The pair move well together and the black and white aspect of the video adds a comical nod to the 1920s.
The song itself sings ‘Treat People With Kindness’ multiple times throughout promoting joy and love, everything you can feel whilst watching the fun music video. The release was a hit with fans, with many taking to twitter to celebrate the video.
Last month Styles announced that he was postponing his 2021 UK and Europe tour due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
He tweeted: ‘Everyone’s health and safety remains our top priority, which is why I unfortunately have to postpone my UK and European shows planned for Feb/March 2021 until further notice.’
