The latest addition to the roster was unveiled during the PlayStation Experience.
Bandai Namco have announced the addition of a new character to Street Fighter V. F.A.N.G is a new Shadaloo assassin. One of the Grand Masters, he is able to use a mix of long ranged attacks and stealth moves against his enemies. He also has the ability to poison his enemies when the opportunity arises.
During the presentation, game producer Yoshinori Ono confirmed the identities of the six characters that will be available post launch. Using either “fight Money” earned in game, “Zenny” currency bought using real-world transactions or through the purchase of a Season Pass, players will be able to unlock and use Balrog and Guile from Street Fighter II, Alex, Ibuki and Urien from Street Fighter III and Yuri Han from Street Fighter IV. The exact release schedule for these characters has not been confirmed so far.
Street Fighter V is scheduled to be released on PlayStation 4 and PC on February 16 2016. The Season Pass is available now in the PlayStation Store. Watch the F.A.N.G reveal trailer below.
