The console will be released globally in 2017.
Nintendo have confirmed that their next console, the NX, will be released in March 2017. The news was announced during the company’s latest financial statement, which also confirmed the console’s release would be a global one.
The statement also revealed that the console would not be shown at June’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) and that the focus would be on the next Legend of Zelda title, which is also slated for a March 2017 release.
The new Legend of Zelda title had been initially planned for a 2015 release, but will now be released for both the Nintendo Wii U and NX in 2017.
