The winners of the 37th Golden Joystick Awards have been announced. Held in the Bloomsbury Big Top in London and hosted by Danny Wallace, the awards celebrate gaming achievement over the past year.
The remake of Resident Evil 2 took home the award for Ultimate Game of the Year, as well as the award for Best Audio. Among the other winners of the night were Outer Wilds, Devil May Cry 5, Beat Saber and Days Gone.
The development team behind Life Is Strange were honoured with the Outstanding Contribution Award, with Shenmue creator Yu Suzuki the recipient of the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award.
