Gaming News: E3 2016 – Microsoft Conference

Trailers Galore

As with previous conferences, Microsoft showcased a series of trailers of a wide variety of upcoming titles, giving fans first looks, new looks and release dates.

  • ReCore – A new character trailer was shown, featuring some of the characters players will come across, and play as, during the game. It was also confirmed that the game would launch on September 13.
  • The Division: Underground – The first paid DLC for the game will be released on June 28. The DLC will feature new maps, missions and gameplay.
  • Battlefield 1 – Set in World War One, Battlefield 1 will be available to those with EA Access and Xbox Gold on October 13.
  • Dead Rising 4 – Frank West returns in the next installment of the survival horror series. Taking Frank back to where it all began, it will be released during the holiday season this year.
  • State of Decay 2 – The zombie apocalypse sequel has been officially confirmed with a cinematic trailer, putting players back into Trumball Valley, and a 2017 release planned.
  • Gwent – The card game from The Witcher series will be a standalone release. Fans wishing to take part in the closed beta in September can register at playgwent.com
  • Halo Wars 2 – The highly anticipated title debuted a trailer showing combat between humans and the new enemy clan – The Banished – at the new Arc location. The game was also given a confirmed release date of February 21 2017, with a beta running from June 13-20.
