Elder Scrolls
For fans of the Elder Scrolls franchise, there was some new and updated content to enjoy. Along with a look at the remaster of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – subtitled Special Edition – there was confirmation of its October 28 release date and that console mods would be supported in this new edition. The Special Edition will be free to those with the Legendary Edition of the game on Steam and to those who have the standard edition with the complete Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn DLC packages on Steam.
Away from Skyrim, there was the début of the campaign trailer for Elder Scrolls Legends, the upcoming strategy card game, which will be released later in the year. Players of The Elder Scrolls Online/Tamriel Unlimited, there was another look at the upcoming Dark Brotherhood DLC and the announcement that the game would be released in Japan on June 23. It was also announced at the presentation that the autumn would see the release of One Tamriel, a new system that will allow players to unlock the level restrictions on certain aspects of the game. Under the new system, player would have access to all the game has to offer with no limits upon completion of the tutorial level.
