From Software and Namco have announced that Dark Souls will be remastered. Set to launch in May, the title will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and for the first time on Nintendo Switch.
The remaster will include updated visuals and graphics and improved framerates. As for the game’s content, the Artorius of the Abyss DLC will be included, along with a series of online covenants which, according to Namco, will “motivate your online interactions”.
First released in 2011 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the game was followed by a PC release in 2012, which included the first set of upgraded visuals.
Dark Souls Remastered is scheduled to be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch on May 25. Watch a teaser trailer below.
