Ahead of their releases next month, there was a last little taste of Forza Motorsport 6 and FIFA 16.
Forza fans were treated to a look into the making of the game with ‘Racing in the Rain’ – a short featurette detailing the process of making the games as realistic as possible, both in terms of look and gameplay. With a little help from Indy 500 driver (and Forza fan) Josef Newgarden, Turn 10’s latest offering features 450 cars to choose from for players to race around 26 destinations globally with dedicated servers now allowing for 24 player multiplayer racing – all in 1080p at 60fps (which is as impressive as the roster of cars)
As for those looking to get their sporting fix from FIFA 16, there was another look at some of the new features – the addition of women’s teams for the first time, new gameplay innovations and the FIFA Trainer option – but also some new faces coming to the game. As part of the Ultimate Team plan, gamers will have a whole new roster of Legends – which includes George Best and Ryan Giggs – to choose from and also new ways of using them. Among those is the Legends Chemistry feature which will makes building strong teams that little bit easier though matching player based on things such as nationality. Also unveiled were two special console and game bundle packs for Xbox One and FIFA 16 which includes EA Access features as well (bundles able to pre-order now.)
