Tickets for the Fringe Futures Festival, which is being run collaboratively by the Off-West End venues Pleasance and VAULT Creative Arts, have officially gone on sale.

The festival programme includes over 50 events ranging across drag, comedy, cabaret and theatre. The shows will play at venues spread across Islington and Waterloo to socially distanced audiences.

Burnt Lemon Theatre, Nouveau Riche, and Spes Like Us are among the artists and companies curating the festival.

New plays being showcased at the Futures Festival include 5 Ways 2 Run / Diosa Callejera by Jasmine Kahlia, and the autobiographical Dolly by Chantelle Dusette. Sexy Lamp’s Katie Arnstein will also present her new play Armbands.

Felt by Pip Williams and Toxic Crazy Lucky Stronger by Hot Cousin are also included, as are comedy performances from Sarah Keyworth, Larry Dean, and Serena Flynn, among others.

In a statement, VAULT Creative Arts said that the festival “will feature bold and original new work across theatre, comedy and late-night entertainment. With a programme from leading independent performance makers, this is a showcase of the future of the fringe.

“[The] Fringe Futures Festival sees the Pleasance and VAULT Creative Arts, producers of VAULT Festival, join together for an innovative collaboration that provides opportunities for early and mid-career artists to try out exciting new work in front of a live audience.”

The festival runs from 24 May until 25 June, with tickets starting from £5. The full programme, tickets, and further venue details are available here.
