One of the most famous players of Elden Ring has been immortalised as an in-game mod.

The player, known as Let Me Solo Her, rose to prominence in the game’s fandom after making themselves available to fight Malenia. As one of the game’s harder bosses, Malenia is a tough fight so many players took the opportunity to summon Let Me Solo Her for some help in the battle when playing online.

Players were able to do this by using the summon sign just outside the boss fight area and Let Me Solo Her soon became an icon in the Elden Ring community thanks in part to the character’s distinctive look, which consists only of a pothead, twin katanas, and basic underwear.

Now, those wishing to summon Let Me Solo Her for a little assistance won’t have to wait until they meet the Goddess of Rot. Modder Garden of Eyes has turned Let Me Solo Her into a spirit ash summon.

Swapping out the ‘Lone Wolf Ashes’, the mod renames the summon ‘Puppet of the Legend’ with the description stating: “His famous words echoed through every era: ‘I always wear a jar on my head, and I do not bail on any Malenia boss fights.” This switch will allow players to summon Let Me Solo Her at any point in the game, no summon sign is required.

In a recent interview with Polygon, Let Me Solo Her explained his reasons for wanting to help players, sharing that his own experience saw them take on Malenia “nearly 170 times” and how he wanted to help others feel the same sense of relief they had when defeating her. He also explained that they enjoy the complex boss fight as they “…really love her design and her attack animations.”

The popularity of Let Me Solo Her has seen many fans show their appreciation via artwork and online tributes to their work in the Elden Ring community on the game’s SubReddit.

The mod is available now via Garden of Eyes’ Patreon page.

Elden Ring is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
