Nothing but Thieves
WHO’S IN THE BAND – The group are one of the largest sized bands playing at Community this summer, with the band comprised of five members. Conor Mason is their vocalist, Dom Craik and Joe Langridge-Brown are on guitar, Philip Blake is the band’s bassist, and James Price is on drums.
GENRE – A mixture of haunting indie ballads, whilst other songs are pure guitar alternative rock tunes.
WHERE ARE NOTHING BUT THIEVES FROM – Southend-On-Sea, Essex. The Horrors are another rock group who have roots in the seaside town.
HOW LONG HAS THE BAND BEEN AROUND FOR – They were formed in 2012.
YOU MAY RECOGNISE THEM FROM… – Nothing but Thieves have had their tracks selected as Track of the Day, and Hottest Record in the World on Radio 1, one of the UK’s biggest radio stations. The group have also supported megastars including Twenty One Pilots, Muse, and Gerard Way. Their well-known songs are ‘Ban all the Music’, ‘Itch’, and ‘Trip Switch’, and their debut 2015 album Nothing but Thieves charted in countries including Australia, UK, Italian, and charted within the Billboard 200, ensuring they are on their way to breaking over the pond.
