WHO’S IN THE BAND – Ryan Potter is the main singer and in addition to this plays guitar, Dan Dorney is the group’s lead guitarist, Jermaine Angin is The Hunna’s bassist and Jack Metcalfe is on drums.
GENRE – Indie rock/pop group.
WHERE ARE THE HUNNA FROM – Hertfordshire, England. Several very well-known groups have emerged from the county, including Friendly Fires, Enter Shikari, and Wham!.
HOW LONG HAS THE BAND BEEN AROUND FOR – One of the more newer groups on the line-up, The Hunna have been around for just a couple of years now, although the members have known one another for longer.
YOU MAY RECOGNISE THEM FROM… – Their most well known song arguably is ‘Bonfire’, which ended up receiving a lot of radio airplay. They have had a very rapid rise to fame, with debut album 100 released in late summer last year, and it charted exceptionally high for a new group, peaking at No13. They have done a couple of national tours now, and played at several big UK festivals.
