WHO’S IN THE BAND – At present there are four lads who make up RedFaces; Harry Lyon provides the lead vocals and guitar, alongside Ryan Laycock on guitar and on backing vocals, Isaac White plays bass and provides backing vocals, whilst Charlie Yapp is on drums.
GENRE – A mixture of indie rock sounds, with some old school rock’n’roll flavours for good measure.
WHERE ARE REDFACES FROM – Sheffield! The city is home for successful bands from a multitude of genres – Pulp and Arctic Monkeys are massive names from the rock and indie genre, whilst 80s synth stars The Human League also herald from the industrial city.
HOW LONG HAS THE BAND BEEN AROUND FOR – The group’s Facebook page was first set up in 2012, so the group has been around for a few years now – since the lads finished their A Levels they have had the freedom to contribute more time and effort towards RedFaces.
YOU MAY RECOGNISE THEM FROM…– RedFaces have become recent additions to well-known record label RCA Records, and released their first single for the label ‘Kerosene’ this year.
