Understated, poetic lyricism glints with chest-twisting nostalgia throughout Celeste’s newest EP, Lately.

A mix of soul, jazz, and R&B groove, Celeste’s style stretches comfortably across a plethora of different genres: appealing to both the most eclectic and focused music lover.

Slow, lazily-cool backbeats set the tone for the majority of songs throughout this EP (a homage to the American-born singer’s Californian heritage), and provides the base for Celeste’s bewitching vocal tone.

‘Lately’, ‘Father’s Son’, and ‘Both Sides of the Moon’ are track highlights, but it would be a disservice not to name all five songs as must-listen.
