The sun was setting, and the golden hour was upon us as Taylor Swift took to the stage. She was glowing as the setting sun shone directly on her; she looked almost angelic.
Taylor Swift can put on a show: with an array of lighting effects and videos projected behind her, as well as the dancers whose moves complimented Swift’s lyrics, the crowd was transported away from Swansea to Swift’s heavenly world. The atmosphere she created was electric and was matched by the eager crowd.
She completely contrasted her dramatic opening sequence of ‘Ready for It’ with a stripped-back, acoustic version of ‘Delicate’, solely showcasing her beautiful vocals and incredibly emotive guitar playing. Hearing thousands of avid fans screaming along to the lyrics that helped me get through a difficult time, while beach balls were thrown through the cloud and the smell of candy floss hung in the air, was truly unforgettable. If only this celestial being’s setlist could have been longer, the magic would’ve lasted a few moments more.
