Jitterbug // TULIPS
LA group TULIPS provide a rather frantic bucket-load of riff-tastic noise-pop. The latest edition of which is pacey, fuzz-ball ‘Jitterbug’. Barely touching 2:30 it feels like it’s over in a flash (probably because it is) but pressing repeat is certainly on the cards here so who’s complaining.
Quick-fire riff sequences seem almost normal alongside the glowing lead vocal until the chorus kicks and guitars become riot-shed. You could say riot-pop, is that thing? It is now. Raw and natural, just how we like it. Straight out the garage and straight into our ears. An instant classic, surely?
