2. Slaves
Slaves are set to bring their raucous live set to the Tramlines main stage, kicking off on the Friday of the festival. Having released their debut album Are You Satisfied? in May, Slaves are eager to spread these songs to as many people as possible. They’ve already received extended airplay from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and XFM, and seemed to have garnered a cult fan base in a short space of time.
Their explosive on-stage energy compliments well with their raw, slick, garage-rock sound. Known for performing shirtless (yes ladies, shirtless) and stage diving, Laurie Vincent and Isaac Holman are a force to be reckoned with.
