David Bowie - "I´ve been waiting for you" (Neil Young)

Grohl has had his fair share of contributions with rock icons. Whether that be from Queen, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Lemmy, Roger Waters or his idols Led Zeppelin.

In the same year in which he collaborated with Queens of the Stone Age, he also brushed guitars with one of rock’s legends – David Bowie. Grohl appears on one song on the album ‘Heathen’, a cover of a Neil Young song from his debut album, released in 1968.

Grohl steps out of his natural habitat by dropping the sticks and picking up the guitar. Both have previously collaborated in the same fashion at Bowie’s 50th Birthday Concert in 1997, on the track ‘Seven Years in Tibet’.
