The Maccabees //Something Like Happiness
Indie favourites The Maccabees are back on top form. With a North American tour supporting Mumford and Sons under their belt and their new album due for release in late July, the stars have aligned for the Maccas. ‘Something Like Happiness’, the second glimpse at their impending album, acts as a beautifully soft compliment to the enthusiastic ‘Marks To Prove It’. Lead singer Orlando Weekes’ quirky and considerate vocals sit beautifully on top of the lilting rhythms. It seems that even after 3 years away The Maccabees have still got it.
