The Avalanches
It’s very easy to get forgotten in today’s world, especially in the music business and The Avalanches definitely ran that risk when they disappeared for 11 years. After the release of the magnificent ‘Since I Left You’ in 2000, for which the group won multiple awards and received critical acclaim, the band were ready to take over the world. But having been working on the follow up since 2005, hope was beginning to fade. That was until earlier this year when they appeared out of nowhere to seemingly confirm something was in the pipeline, along with a string of live dates, including a trip to Victoria Park. Expect the place to be bouncing when the group pull out their euphoric dance hits.
