Wilton’s Music Hall have announced their new season for April-August 2022.

The new season opens with Buffy Revamped (19-23 April). This Seabright Production brings 144 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer as told through the eyes of fan favourite character, Spike.

The lineup has added two twists on classical theatre with Rachel Garnet’s retelling of Romeo and Juliet, Starcrossed (1-25 June) and Northern Broadsides and New Vic Theatre’s production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It (10-14 May).

Olivier-award winner Christopher Green will return to the Wilton with Ida Barr: Not Dead (27 April & 23 July) and her own brand of urban RnB. Liza Pulman is also returning with a new show and album The Heart of It (4-5 July).

Queer Cowboys (26 May), produced by Freddie Love, celebrates the lives erased from history books in a show set in 19th century America. Poet in the City will also present Edward Lear: Wandering Nonsense Man (11 July) which celebrates Edward Lear’s lasting legacy on poetry.

The programme includes the UK premiere of Three Decembers (17-21 May). Opera della Luna presents a heart-wrenching tale of Broadway star Madeline Mitchell and her two adult children during the AIDS crisis.

Jazz, cabaret and drag will of course be a part of this summer’s line up with Trinity Vogue’s All Girl Swing Band (6-7 July), Ashes to Ashes (13-14 July) and Peter Groom’s Dietrich: Live At Wilton’s (3-5 May).

Tickets for Wilton’s Music Hall’s 2022 summer season are currently available online.
