West End Stars To Participate in Charity Football Match

West End stars are taking to the football pitch to raise money for Acting for Others and Sands. 

The family-friendly charity football will welcome some of the most prestigious actors, singers and performers from London’s West End theatre industry showcasing their either their vocal talents or football skills.

The event is set to take place on Sunday 17 July at the New River Sports and Fitness Centre in Wood Green with kick off at 3PM. 

Sands United FC will play against West End Charity FC which features stars Jamael Westman (Hamilton), Lee Mead (Casualty, Holby City, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Luke Kempner (comedian/impersonator), Aaron Sidwell (EastEnders), Courtney Stapleton (Beauty and The Beast), Liam Doyle (Heathers, Wicked, Mamma Mia!), Jon-Scott Clark (Miss Saigon, Hamilton) and Vinny Coyle (Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Cinderella).

There will also be a pre-match concert at 2:30PM with performances from Emma Kingston (Heathers), Evie Hoskins (Waitress), Kayleigh McKnight (Tina), Shaq Taylor (Beauty and The Beast), Holly-Anne Hull (The Phantom of The Opera) and Giovanni Spano (Cinderella). More performers are still to be announced.  

Acting for Others is made up of 14 individual theatrical charities, offering financial and emotional support to theatre workers in difficult times. Sands United FC provides support to dads and other family members who have experienced the loss of a child. Each team member commemorates their babies’ lives by proudly displaying their names on their kit.

Tickets are priced at £12 for adults and £10 for children and can be purchased through Ticket Source.
