The Covasettes are an indie quartet from Manchester who burst onto the scene in 2017, and since then have enjoyed great success, garnering a constant radio presence throughout the northeast of England and making appearances on radio shows such as BBC 5 Live and BBC Introducing.

Despite not being on the UK independent scene for a long time, they have made a sparkling impression, wowing audiences up and down the country with their electric live performances which are known to leave a smile on the face of their fans.

The band are back with ‘Watching All The Good Ones Go,’ their second single of 2021 following the release of ‘Modern Rapunzel’ earlier in the year.

‘Watching All The Good Ones Go’ is a prime example of the progress the boys have made since they came together in 2017, as they showed their range with a slower and more methodical track which showcases their song-writing and story-telling abilities.

The track, despite being slow, still has a unique charisma which The Covasettes are known for. The stirring guitar melodies and drawing lead vocals allow for this to be a truly great tune.

Speaking about the release, Lead Vocalist Chris Buxton said: “’Watching All The Good Ones Go’ is one of the highlights from our time in lockdown. We can’t wait to get out and play it live for everyone. This song came together really quickly, and we think it’s a great stepping-stone from our latest singles to what we are planning on releasing in the summer. We have worked on so much music lately and we could not be more excited to share it and see what everyone thinks. We’re confident that ‘Watching All the Good Ones Go’ will be a song that people can sing along with and dance to at our gigs next month.”

The Covasettes are a band ready for the big time, and good things are coming their way. With a headline tour in the near future, the boys are ready to hit the stage and show the UK what they’re made of. If they continue producing songs such as ‘Watching All The Good Ones Go,’ they are definitely on the right track.
