Track Review: Trap Door // Seprona

Seprona are a Liverpool-based indie quartet with a very enticing, professional sound. They have played alongside bands such as The Vaccines and The Flaming Lips and are finding growing success with their fresh, invigorating sound.

The contrast between the bright and pulsating band and the moody, Alex Turner-esque vocals contribute towards an interesting sound that captivates the listener from the opening. No band members redundant as they all work together to craft this brief, but very catchy track.

The song seems familiar and fits right into the canon of Brit pop music, but also perfectly captures the unique touch and style the band brings. It would be interesting to see how this band explores and develops this sound. Definitely one to look out for. Make sure to check out the music video for the track too.
