Don Broco, one of UK’s hottest up and coming acts, have released their brand new single and video, ‘Technology’, taken from their upcoming third album set for release later this year. Following previous single ‘Pretty’, it continues to show a progression in both style and sound for the Bedford based rock band.
The tracks flavour seems to lie somewhere between funny and serious. With lyrics such as, “Toned, flat tummy / got a new hobby / so check out so check out this body / I had a friend now he works out / I had a friend can’t put his camera down”, the track repetitively pokes at the social media bubble that we’re all guilty of being in, some more than others. It’s no secret that Don Broco have mastered electro rock, with previous singles ‘Automatic’ and ‘Everybody’ charting well and becoming fan favourites. The drums and production increase the power of the lyrics, giving the track this larger than life quality.
With one headline show left of 2016 at Alexandra Palace in November, Don Broco have crafted the perfect accompaniment to summer 2017 and lead up to their next LP release.
