The folk-inspired, dreamy chords that open Aaron Wright’s track ‘Rob a Bank’ are of an ethereal demeanor, immediately inducing the listener with the warmth of sunshine through acoustic melodies. The 23-year-old Scottish singer-songwriter manages to successfully incorporate elements of soft, Ben Howard-esque vocals along with the folk-pop sentiments of Matt & Kim, as well as the quiet effervescence of Passion Pit.

Hailing from Edinburgh and having released his self-titled album earlier this March, Wright has performed at a host of notable venues around the UK, with a repertoire that includes Glasgow’s King Tut’s and festival appearances at T In the Park and Electric Picnic. ‘Rob a Bank’ is a track that renders you reminiscent of autumn walks through the woods, falling leaves decorating the forest floor, boots crunching along. It unfurls your mind to take you back to the fondest of memories, a wonderfully lovely and catchy track, and an absolute delight of a tune.
