Lancashire pop artist Molly. isn’t letting a pandemic get in the way of wistful thinking. Adding to her successful string of singles, she presents ‘Paradise’: a lock-down inspired track that offers 3 minutes of upbeat escapism.

With bright and airy vocals (think Georgia meets Billie Eilish), spacey fade-ins, and pop-synth effects, ‘Paradise’ has all the ingredients of an alt-pop hit. Its positive and atmospheric sound allows the madness of 2020 to fade into a hazy memory, replacing it with smoky rooftop dreaming. Molly. takes you to her fantasy, “a place that has no hassle or problems”, that many will have wanted to fast forward to over the last months.

Artists will respond to this unprecedented year in a variety of ways; for Molly. the pandemic has meant continuing her mission of producing fresh, feel-good music. This shimmering vision of paradise is sure to lift spirits.
